Geed Matthewson
(SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM.)

Solo albums "Time Being" recorded live at Ronnie Scotts, London, Blue Note records, 1972. Also "Bloody Aftermatt", MT Vessel records, 1984.

What an animal, an obsessive, raging drummist! Geed often musically 'fights' other band members during gigs, eventually 'winning' on the drums every time.

As punishment for Geed's incessant talking during school-class, the Christian Brothers in Dundalk forced wee Geed to write into his copybook 100 times - "Empty vessels make most sound".

As an adult, Geed then discovered that it is in fact the drums that are the empty vessels that make most sound! If u mic up Geed's drums they have been known to shatter solid concrete. Rock+Roll!!.
